MAREZ -- Rudy Marez, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 4, 2004. He was born in Fruita, CO on January 27, 1925. He was a resident of Albuquerque for the past 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Marez; and grandson, Christopher Apodaca. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Yolanda Marez; daughter and son-in-law, Maryhelen and Vince Apodaca; and son and daughter-in-law, Elias and Dorothy Marez; grandchildren, Rudy Apodaca, Elias Marez Jr., Michael Marez, Jesse Apodaca, and Michelle Marez; great-grandchildren, Tony Marez, Christopher Apodaca, Allijah Marez, and Elijah Apodaca, and baby Hailey Apodaca (on the way), all from Albuquerque. Viewing will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 8, 2004, and services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, 764-9663. Graveside services and Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Mt. Calvary Cemetary, 1900 Edith N.E. We love you, Dad and Pompo, and you'll live in our hearts forever.
