PARKER -- Walter Marcus Parker, age 95, passed away on August 29, 2004. He dedicated his life to the education of the young, and his legacy will live on in the lives that he touched. He passionately served as principal of Northeast Elementary in Farmington, NM and resided there for over fifty years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sunshine Adams Parker; and by his children, Loretta Harnsberger and Marcus Parker; grandchild, James Harnsberger; and great-grandchild, Crystal Darling. He is survived by his grandchildren, Dana Bear and husband, David Bear; Sue Harnsberger and her longtime companion, Debbie Brown. A Graveside Service and Celebration of Life will be held on September 4, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Greenlawn Cemetary, Farmington, NM.
