CHAVEZ -- Mrs. Ramona Chavez, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on July 17, 2004. Mrs. Chavez is the beloved mother to Louise Chavez Oroszo, Art Chavez, Albert Chavez and wife, Julie, Louie Chavez and wife, Rio, John Chavez and wife, Nora, and Beatrice Chavez. Mrs. Chavez is also survived by ten grandchildren, Joey, Gareth, Rick, Bobby, Christina, Patrick, Anita, Monica, Raphael, and Stephanie; ten great-grandchildren, Daniel, Dominic, Alex, Melanie, Nathaniel, Lea, Aliyah, Kayle, Dylan, and Sarah; five brothers; seven sisters; three sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique (Henry) Chavez. Mrs. Chavez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Chavez will be Wednesday evening, July 21, 2004 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1800 Griegos NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final visitation will be Thursday morning, July 22, 2004, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Ramon Aragon. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Chavez, Rick Chavez, Bobby Chavez, Gareth Chavez, Patrick Chavez, and Raphael Chavez.
