PAINTER -- Lyle Painter, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 12, 2004. He was born on April 25, 1928 in Anacortes, Washington. Lyle is survived by his former spouse and best friend, Joann Painter; children, Noni Stephens of Arlington, TX, Scott Painter and wife, Lisa, of Austin, TX, Baba Freeman and husband, Matthew, of Fort Worth, TX, Jan Painter and fiancee, Greg Bronner, of Albuquerque; a twin brother, Lee Painter and wife, Susan, of Powers, OR; five grandchildren, Scott McPherson, Connor and Katie Freeman, and Benjamin and Joshua Painter; and his dog, "Fang". He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter, as well as being a member of the Albuquerque & Belen Rotary Clubs.
