MCLAUGHLIN -- William (Bill) Ellis McLaughlin passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2004 surrounded by his family. Private services were held in Algodones, NM, where he was layed to rest. He is preceded in death by his father, William; Mother, Agnes; and brothers, Jack and Bobby. Bill is survived by wife, Elizabeth; step-children, Michael Torres and Dianna Torres Archibeque; three grandchildren, Maija and Mariah Archibeque, and Michael Israel Torres. Also surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Glenda; 3 nephews and 2; nieces. Bill spent his entire career in the food and beverage industry. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Allen Firestone of Bernalillo, NM, for his involvement and interest in Bill's health; to Lynette, Jayne, Ruth, Fergus and Katy at Zia Hospice for their loving care and attention; to the Placitas Volunteer Fire and Rescue Brigade, who on numerous occasions assisted with great professionalism, Robert at Road Runner Medical Equipment and Bob at Medical Supply Company for their prompt delivery and caring nature; and most especially to all our family and friends who provided us with words of encouragement and moral support during this difficult journey. Bill will live on through the generous works of all these kind people and in the hearts of those who loved him.
