MALDONADO -- Helen Garcia Maldonado, 66, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on July 2, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Porfirio Maldonado; four daughters, Kathy Alvarez and husband, Victor, Debbie Garcia, Pearl Holley and Magdalene Garcia; grandchildren, Zack, Geneva and husband, Brad, Ava, Dan and Malachi; great grandchildren, Mariah and an unborn baby girl; three sisters, Betty, Nellie and Lillian; sister-in-law, Ilene; aunt, Isabel Avila. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a granddaughter. Visitation will take place Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a wake service at 6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. also at French Mortuary with Pastor Richard Chavez, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dan Garcia, Malachi Jolley, John Elam, Julian Corona, David Garcia, Leroy Saenz, Joel Maldonado and Tony Sanchez. Honorary pallbearer will be Zack Garcia.
