CAMPOS -- Ignacio G. Campos, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 30, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nora, his daughter, Pauline and husband, Arthur Duran, daughter, Erma and husband, David McDonald, son, Benny and wife, Samantha Campos, all of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, William Campos. Nash was a proud member of the United States Army and served his country in WWII as a medic. Mr. Campos is also survived by his sister, Mary Venegas of California, and two brothers, Adolfo Campos Jr. of Hollman, NM, and Felix Campos of Albuquerque, NM. Grandpa Nash was most proud of his eight beautiful grandchildren and found such enjoyment out of his 16 great-grandchildren. His sense of humor and ready laugh will be missed by all who knew him. Special thanks from the family to Lovelace Hospice and Dr. Mark Wesselman, MD, for their support. A Rosary will be recited on Monday July 5, 2004, 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2004 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5311 Phoenix NE. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Brett Campos, Arthur Duran, Glen Duran, Juan Jaramillo, David McDonald and Jimmy McDonald. Friends are encouraged to visit the family home following the services.
