DEGARMO -- Kenton DeGarmo, 48, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2004. Kenny and his family moved to NM in 1995. He worked at the Balloon Fiesta Park as Retail Merchandise Manager and Artistic Director of the "Holiday Fiesta." Previously, Kenny designed some and built many of the electric light sculptures for the Albuquerque BioPark's annual "River of Lights" display at Christmas. Always enthusiastic about sports, Kenny coached girls' basketball at Holy Ghost Catholic School where his younger daughter is a student. He made his children and their athletic interests a priority in his life, so it was understandable that he became an avid supporter and attendee at AAU and AYBL girls' basketball games and Eldorado/Sandia High Schools' and AWP's water polo matches. Kenny's sense of humor and ready smile won him many friends who will miss him and may want to attend his Memorial Service at the Albuquerque BioPark on July 5 at 5:30 p.m. Donations can be made at any First State Bank to the Kenny DeGarmo Memorial Fund which will establish an educational trust for his children. Kenny is survived by his wife, Annie Fedora, daughters Demi and Kya, parents Corinne and Glen DeGarmo, aunt and uncle Melanie and Terrence O'Hare, and cousin Danielle O'Hare Barbagli
