VELASQUEZ -- Juan Jose Velasquez, 28, passed away on June 17, 2004. He was born on May 18, 1976 in Roswell, NM and raised in Albuquerque. He is survived by his parents, Margarita and Juan Velasquez; a sister, Tara Velasquez; two nephews, Angelo and Oscar; a niece, Justice; aunts, Angelita Esqueda of Salinas, CA, Adella Jaramillo of Roswell, NM; uncles, Ynes Jaramillo of Roswell, NM and Gino Jaramillo of Roswell, NM. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Victoria and Lucas Jaramillo; aunts, Demetria Flores and Concha Lopez; and an uncle, Joe P. Jaramillo. Juan enjoyed hanging out with his friends, listening to music, watching sports. His favorite job experiences were job detailing, restoring furniture, and carpentry. The pallbearers will be Felix and Eric Jaramillo, Carlos Trujillo, Theresa Gonzales, Tabatha Serna, Leroy Acosta, Amanda Acosta, and Armando Borunda. Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at San Felipe De Neri Church, 2005 N. Plaza NW, with interment to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.
