HARTSFIELD -- Vera Hartsfield, age 93, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2004 at home in Albuquerque. Vera was a member of The First Methodist Church, Melrose, NM. Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry; one brother, Gilber Hightower. Surivivors include two sons, Tommy Hartsfield and Dudley and wife, Vickie Hartsfield; two daughters, Donnie Stickley and Vella and husband, Leon Dodd; one brother, Broy Hightower; eight grandchildren, Becky and husband, Leroy Finney, Darla Dodd, Shelley Mapstone, Scott and wife, Sandra Dodd, Tammy and husband, Larry Taylor, Doug Stickley, Dudley Wayne Hartsfield, Cindy Bernal, and Tuffy Hartsfield; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandsons. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, June 23rd 2004, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution, NE, with Reverend Joann Palmer, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of: RIverside Funeral Home, 225 SanMateo, phone 764-9663. Graveside services will be held at Melrose Cemetery, Melrose, NM, Thursday, June 24, 2004, at 1:00 p.m..
