SORCE -- Anthony J. Sorce, a longtime resident of Rio Rancho, died on June 6, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side. Anthony was born in West Allis, Wisconsin on February 28, 1924. He moved to Rio Rancho in 1970. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline; his four children, Dorothy, Michael, Linda, Marie; his 4 grandchildren, Eva, Nicole, Jennifer, David; and his two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Caleb. The family would like to express their appreciation to all of the friends and relatives who were so supportive during his illness. They would also like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Presbyterian Hospital and especially those from Vista Care for their caring and compassionate way of taking care of Anthony. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
