BARELA -- Charlie Barela, 51, went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2004. He was born on April 16, 1953 in New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his mother Eualia Barela; father, Manuel Barela; brother, George Barela and sister, Ruth Zamora. Mr. Barela is survived by his daughters Christine Loidolt and husband Chris and Cecilia Barela; son, Charles Barela; brothers, Ernest Barela and wife Frances and Eddie Barela; sisters, Clorinda Romero and husband Pete, Dora Sena and husband Arthur, Eve Waggermen and Emily Lencioni and husband Mark; brother-in-law, Nestor Zamora; his grandchildren, Christopher, Derek and Alyxandria Loidolt. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery.
