SLADE -- Caroline L. Slade, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Monday, May 3, 2004. She is survived by her sister, Clair Larson and brother-in-law, Olaf of Mt. Dora, FL; nephews, William Larson and wife, Barbara of Bibbienna, Italy, and Richard Larson and wife, Debbie of Orlando, FL; and nieces, Lynn McKinnie of Orinda, CA, and Coral Bishop and husband, Richard of Madison, WI. Mrs. Slade was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred E. Slade. She was born in Schenectady, NY. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1933. Before marriage, Mrs. Slade worked as a teacher in Wyoming. After moving to New Mexico, she worked as a volunteer in Albuquerque community activities and as a homemaker. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
