BACA -- Salome Baca, 84, passed from this world to join his loving wife of 54 years, Sofia C. Baca; daughter, Jeanette Sanchez; and son, Jesus Baca. He is survived by two sons, Arthur Baca and wife, Maggie and Anthony Baca and wife, Dolores; five daughters, Louise Teupell, Margaret Saiz and spouse, Pete, Esther Lucero and spouse, Charlie, Dorothy Martinez and spouse, Manuel and Roseann Esquibel and spouse, Joe; sisters, Julia Anaya, Marcella Baca and Lena Jaramillo; special grandson, Joshua Esquibel; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and roommates, Maxine and Juan. Mr. Baca was a veteran of the Marine Corps during World War II. He served in the Pacific Theater in Saipan, Mariana Islands.A Rosary for Mr. Baca will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at the San Ignacio Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors. Family and friends of Salome are gathering at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Pete 5201 Golden Ave NW, in Taylor Ranch.
