SANCHEZ -- Rebecca P. Sanchez, age 90, passed away on April 22, 2004. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Juan Sanchez; a son, Juan Sanchez, Jr; a daughter, Maria Carriaga; her parents, Telesfor and Isabel Padilla; a sister, Isabel Montoya; and a brother, Nicolas Padilla. She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Rael and husband, Florentine, Jennie Garcia and husband, Alfredo Baldarrama; and a son, Steve Sanchez and wife, Patricia. She also had 15 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was a proud member of the Gold Star Mothers of the Vietnam War, a devoted member of the Catholic Community and a faithful friend to all who knew her. A Rosary will be held Sunday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sunrise. The Memorial Mass will be on Monday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd NE.
