MARTINEZ -- Mrs. Adela A. Martinez, 92, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 22, 2004 peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Martinez is the beloved mother to Lupe Torrez , Charles Martinez and wife, Cristella. Mrs. Martinez is also survived by one sister, Theresa Chavez and husband, Tony; fourteen grandchildren, Corinne, Paul, Patricia, Joanne, Sandra, Michael, Cynthia, David, Rita, Betty, Grace, Bernadette, Alfred and Maggie; several great and great -great grandchildren. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her husband, Crescencio; a son, Alfred; grandsons, Chris and Mario; sisters, Rita, Rose and Josephine and a brother, Arthur. Mrs. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Martinez will be Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 817 Arno SE with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Lydia Romero. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Dennis Garcia. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Torrez, Paul Torrez Jr., Chris Torrez, Michael Martinez, Danny Lerma and Robert Rodriquez.
