HUNT -- Shirley J. Hunt, age 73, a resident of Acoma Pueblo passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2004. She was born on July 23, 1930 in California to Ralph and Rose Pettis. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Hunt of the family home in Acoma, whom she married on February 29, 1952 (leap year). She is also survived by two daughters, Patricia Harisson of California, and Kelly Hunt, of Virginia; a famous Uncle, Wilbert Edward Hunt of Acoma whom Shirley was extremely fond of. Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines and loved to dance. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in Fern Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of: Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE 842-8800
