BROCK -- James "Jim" R. Brock, Sr., 87, a resident of Albuquerque for 1963, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004. He is survived by his sons, James R. Brock, Jr. and wife, Melba of Atlanta, GA, Joseph R. Brock and wife, Carol and Walter D. Brock and wife, Angie, all of Douglasville, GA; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Bessie McEachern of Jacksonville, FL; special friend and neighbor, Stephen Gallegos; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Frankie in 2000. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Brock was a member of the American Legion Post #14 in Albuquerque, Masonic Lodge of College Park, GA and the Elks Lodge of California. He was a retired machinist and moved back to Albuquerque in 1980. Services will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, half-hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon's International, 3020 Camino Real Ct.
