GARCIA -- Lorenzo Adan Garcia, beloved husband, father, and grandfather was called home by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 20, 2004, while surrounded by his loving family. Lorenzo Adan was a life long resident of Algodones. He is survived by his wife Casiilda (Cathy) of the family home; four sons, Johnny R. Garcia and wife, Margaret, Mark Garcia, Anthony Garcia, and Sammy Garcia and wife, Patricia; one daughter, Michelle Garcia and husband, Albert; grandchildren, Johnny, Joseph, Josh, and John Michael; grandson, Damien; and granddaughters Samanta, Vanessa, Alea, and Ariel. Also surviving are two brothers, Nestor and Alex; and one sister, Dolores Moore and husband, Bob. The rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:00p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m., also at the church. Interment will follow at the Algodones Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Johnny P. Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Gary Tafoya, Joseph Duran, and Herman Tafoya. Honorary bearers will be Ignacio Salazar, Perfecto Tafoya, Joshua Baca Garcia, and Tony Leyba. Funeral services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
