WERSHAW -- Arthur (Sam) Wershaw April 3, 1939 - March 20, 2002 Sam, I can't believe it's been two years since you left so silently and unexpectedly. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Every day thoughts go through my mind, "...if I had only known it was my last night by your side. If I had only known I'd never hear your voice again, I'd memorize each thing you ever said, and on these lonely nights, I could think of them once more and keep your words alive inside my head. If I had only known. You were the one who always stood beside me. So foolishly I believed you would always be there, but then I closed my eyes and you slipped away from my life forever. If I had only know, If I had only known..." Your smile, your voice and your strength will always be cherished in my thoughts and in my heart, as well as in the thoughts and hearts of your brother, sister and many, many friends. Joan
