HALSEY -- Robert M. Halsey, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2004. He is survived by his son, Bob Halsey; son, Tom Halsey and wife, Margo Halsey; son, Bill Halsey and wife, Debra Halsey; daughter, Peggy Halsey; and grandson, Connor Halsey. Robert was born September 1, 1920, in Cement City, Mich., and raised in Jackson, Mich. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Michigan and spent more than 40 years as an aeronautical engineer with Bell Helicopter in Amarillo, Texas, with Boeing in Seattle, Wash., and at Sandia National Laboratories. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in England during World War II. Cremation has taken place, and no public services are planned.
