PAPPAS -- Nick Pappas, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1990, died on Friday, February 20, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Pappas of Albuquerque; daughter, Rise Pappas and husband, William Slosarik of Albuquerque; son, George Pappas of Lincoln Park, MI; two granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca of Albuquerque; brother, Harry Pappas and wife, Eleanor of Southgate, MI; two sisters, Vena Thanos and husband, Angelo of Franklin Hills, MI, and Sophie Pappas of Southgate, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nick was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. He was also a WWII army veteran. Services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
