UNALE -- Bernardita L. Unale, 79, beloved mother of sixteen children, grandmother and sister, passed away Into The Arms of Our Lord Christ and Saviour, Tuesday, January 13, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacko Unale and a brother, Amarante Lucero and a sister Virginia Chavez. She is survived by one brother, Tomas Lucero and wife Della of Placitas. She is also survived by her children, Roy Unale of Placitas, James Unale and wife, Joann of Placitas; Erma Felix and husband, George of Albuquerque; Barbara Casaus of Albuquerque; Candelario Unale and wife, Olivia of Bernalillo; Sadie Ortiz and husband, Albert of Albuquerque; Gloria Misquez and husband, Ruben of Bernalillo, Jackie Unale and wife, Kathy of Placitas; Johnny Unale and wife Lorraine of Placitas; Mary Martinez and husband, Victor of Albuquerque; Salvador Unale, and wife, Anna of Placitas; Nick Unale and wife, Linda; of Placitas; Julia Perez and husband, Albert, of Bernalillo; Loretta Sena and husband, Alfred of Placitas; and Charlie Unale of the family home in Placitas; 28 grandchildren, 29 great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews Bernardita was a lifelong resident of Placitas and a member of Las Placitas Presbyterian church. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Special thanks to Presbyterian Hospice, Josie Rodriguez and Erica Sanchez who helped care for her. Services are pending for Friday, January 16, 2004 at Placitas Presbyterian Church.
