RIEMAN -- Helen Fitzpatrick Rieman, 73, born in Chicago, Illinois, died late Tuesday night at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque following a heart attack. Helen, a three year resident of Albuquerque is survived by her beloved husband, Dr. Robert D. Rieman; his three sons, Charles M. Rieman and Christopher H. Rieman both residence of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, as well as Thomas F. Rieman and his wife, Kathryn S. Cottrell who reside in Parker, Texas. Helen was a dedicated wife, mother and good friend who worked as a volunteer to improve the quality of life for those less fortunate. She was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass. She completed her Masters Degree in Special Education at Nova University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she lived most of her adult life. In 1988 she and her husband moved to Durango, Colorado for 12 years before moving to Albuquerque. The Rieman's are members of the La Mesa Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque where a Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with reception immediately following. La Mesa is located at 7401 Copper N.E. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred for the La Mesa Presbyterian Church/Samaritan Fund. Another Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Details to be determined.
