HILL -- Ellen Juanita Hill, not a native but in her heart a true daughter of the state of New Mexico, passed away December 25, 2003. Ms. Hill was born July 3, 1924 at Norphlet, Arkansas. She was a writer and reporter for the United Press International, New Orleans, LA and numerous news papers and radio stations. She was a member of the University of New Mexico Alumni Association; various writers' guilds and was a swim instructor at the Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Andrus and a sister, Margaret. Her love continues in her sons, Marc Andrus of Austin, TX and Jeff Andrus of Santa Monica, Ca; sister, Imogene Ruth Hill; cousin, Virginia Hamner and one grandchild. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown, Texarkana, Tx.
