ORTIZ -- Mrs. Rose J. Ortiz, 82, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 20, 2003 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side and is now at home with our Lord. Mrs. Ortiz is survived by three daughters, Irene Hovey and husband, Bill, Margaret Gabaldon and husband David and Nancy Gandara; nine grandchildren, Debbie Aragon, Ron Hovey and wife, Lisa, Valerie Florez and husband, Silverio, Mark Hovey and wife, Delia, Denise Hovey-Thomas, Celina Quezada and husband, David, Janeen Bates and husband, David. Gabriel Gabaldon and Naomi, Deanne Rush and husband, Robert; 26 great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Kyle, Aubrey, Brandon, T.J., Roy, Anthony, Lia, Amamda, Kristopher, Lexi, Lawrence, Stephanie, Della, Robert, Daron, Brian, Austin, D.J., Robin, Marisa, Sarah, Maia, Gabriel, Elijah, Anyssa and Caleb; two brothers, Carl Jimenez and Joe Jimenez; a special nieces, Geneieve, Lucy and Dolores; a special nephew, John; many other special nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Ortiz was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fermin and a great grandson, Justin. Mrs. Ortiz was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited 3:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Joe Vigil. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, John Jimenez, Joe Pleska, Ron Hovey, Mark Hovey, Gabriel Gabaldon, Daron Thomas, Kyle Aragon, Roy Pederson and Anthony Pederson; Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
