ANDERSON -- Kimberly Marie Anderson, born March 27, 1962, in Abilene, TX and a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2003. She is survived by her parents, Rod and Leilani Anderson of Elephant Butte; brothers, Steve Anderson of Oakland, CA, Chris and wife, Renee and niece, Chey-Lee Anderson of Albuquerque, Sr. M/Sgt. BROOKS -- Russell Leon Brooks, 59 and a longtime resident of Albuquerque died November 20, 2003. He was born in Oklahoma to Roscoe and Mildred Brooks. Russell is survived by his mother, Mildred Brooks; children, Denise Rowlett and husband, Stephen and Dwayne Brooks all of Tulsa, OK; life partner, Darrel Kinion; brother, Jerry Brooks of Albuquerque; sisters, Barbara Brooks of Albuquerque and Shirley Nobel and husband, Dean of Wichita, KS; and grandchildren Michael Rowlett and Haley Rowlett of Tulsa, OK. CHENHALL -- Robert G. Chenhall, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, died Sunday, November 16, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Chenhall of Albuquerque; two sons, Raymond Chenhall of Olympia, WA and Donald Chenhall of Ketchikan, AK; and one daughter, Cookey Fleniken of Washington State. Bob has been married to Bobi, whom he met while teaching at a field school in Southern Arkansas, since 1972. They share five families of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who live from Ketchikan to Washington State, to Michigan and Ohio. Bob had three, successive professional careers. At the end of WWII, where he had served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, he finished a BA degree at San Diego State University. He then moved to Los Angeles for a position with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse & Co. He became a CPA and spent the next few years with "PW", before taking positions as a corporate controller and later chief financial officer with two major corporate organizations. Becoming bored with accounting, Bob began studying archaeology, and finally achieved both MA and Ph.D. degrees from Arizona State University. He was one of the early explorers in the use of computers for cataloging archaeological collections. This work was later expanded to the use of computers in cataloging all types of museum collections. A revised edition of his book, Nomenclature for Museum Cataloging: A System for Classifying Man-Made Objects (1978), is still in print. Dr. Chenhall joined to faculty of the Anthropology Department at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, teaching, doing research for the University Museum and field research with the Arkansas Archeological Survey for three years, before he moved on the Rochester, NY to assist with the development of the catalogue system for a new museum. He later moved to Buffalo as Director of the Natural History Museum, and from there to Albuquerque, where he was the founding Director of New Mexico Natural History Museum until his retirement. Through all the years from Arkansas on, he has traveled the world assisting museums in the creation of computerized catalogues of their collections. Memorial services will be held Monday, November 24, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. In addition, memorial services will take place at a later date in Cincinnati, OH. DOMINGUEZ -- Genevieve A. Dominguez, 46, died on November 19, 2003. Genevieve was born on June 5, 1957. She is preceded in death by Grandmother Mary Miera; and niece Rachael Thornton. Survivors include father, Ernest Dominguez; mother, Bertha Ojeda; brothers, Phillip Dominguez and wife Daniela, Mark Dominguez and wife Sharon, Alan Armijo and wife Adrianna; sisters, Liz Shaver and husband Randy, Beverly Bowlin and husband Todd, Debra Thornton and husband Jeff; nieces, Jessica and Katelyn Bowlin, Nicole Shaver, Samantha Dominguez, Alana Armijo, Heather Thornton; nephews, Matthew Shaver, Jonathan Dominguez, Chris Thornton, Alonzo Armijo; and her loving, faithful dog Popcorn. Genevieve graduated from Del Norte High School in 1975. She was an avid gardener as well as a former ballet dancer, dancing with the New Mexico Ballet. Genevieve had a big and loving heart. DUPREE -- Marjorie J. Dupree, 83, was born September 18, 1920 in Jersey City, New Jersey and God called her home on November 17, 2003. Marjorie wed Wesley George Dupree in 1941 and they had two sons, Wesley L. and Robert W. Marjorie and her husband, Wesley, relocated to Albuquerque in 1972. She loved to read, do crossword ppuzzles, and go bowling. Marjorie joined the New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church in 1993. She was an active member on the Usher Board, Seasoned Chorale Choir, Sonshiners Women's Ministry, and the Word of Works Ministry. She loved her family and friends greatly. Marjorie's parents, Alfred and Gladys Lloyd, her sister, Dorothy, and her husband, Wesley, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Wesley L. and wife, Ann, of Brookfield, Connecticut and Robert W. and wife, Sharman, of Lakehurst, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Miles, Jennifer, Melissa, and Orlena; one step-grandson, Deron; two nieces, Marilyn Fischer of Cranbury, New Jersey and Gail Jackson of Fairfax, Virginia. FEGAN -- Janet Fegan, a resident of Albuquerque, left this world Thursday, November 20, 2003, to spend eternity with her God and her Savior, Jesus the Christ. She was born in Beloit, KS to Hazel and Harmon Guard on October 3, 1934. After moving to Albuquerque in 1946, she attended and graduated from Highland High School in 1952. Following graduation she attended the University of New Mexico for two years until her first marriage to Bill Nickell, when Cindy, her daughter was born and her son, Richard, was added to the family. In 1978, she married Chuck Fegan who survives her passing. Other survivors include her daughter, Cindy and husband, Tom, and granddaughter, Julia; her grandson, Loren, and wife, Eva and great-granddaughter, Serena; and her son, Richard. GABALDON -- Mrs. Mary A. Gabaldon, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to our Lord on November 19, 2003 peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Gabaldon is the beloved wife of 56 years to Mr. Joe L. Gabaldon. Mrs. Gabaldon is also survived by one son, Joe Gabaldon Jr. and wife, Marcella; one daughter, Dora Gonzales and husband, Roberto; two brothers, Juan Apodaca, Abran Apodaca and wife, Edwina; four grandchildren, Robert and wife Aura, Jonathan, Desmond, Marlena and husband Andrew; three great grandchildren, James, Adriana and Liberty Mary; many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and friends. Mrs. Gabaldon was a devoted member of the Catholic Church, a spiritual mother to several intimate friends. GERBER-ANGULO -- Melissa S. Gerber-Angulo passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, November 15, 2003, one day prior to her 32nd birthday. She was a life-long resident of Albuquerque and is survived by her two loving children, son, Taylor Kitele and daughter, Addison Angulo, as well as her parents, Gary and Cathey Gerber, sister, Connie Gerber, brother, John Gerber, all of Albuquerque and brother, Sean Turner of Lake Arrowhead, CA. Melissa is also survived by her grandmother, Suzanne G. Clear, her aunt and uncle, Barbara and Tom Wright of Albuquerque and cousins, Lisa Wright of Albuquerque and Michelle Krause of Florida. Melissa graduated from Cibola High School in 1989, attended TVI and UNM and was a highly regarded massage therapist in Albuquerque for several years. Melissa is also survived by a host of friends, including special friends, Gretchen Gonzales, Martin Kitele, Billy Grider and Rick Bittner, as well as a very large extended family. HAMM -- Scott A. Hamm, 43, passed away at his home in Camarillo, CA, on October 27. Born August 6, 1960 in Albuquerque, and was raised in Cedar Crest. He attended Moriarty H.S. Where he excelled in sports, especially basketball, setting many records. After graduation he moved to California and attended college on a scholarship. He earned a BS in computer engineering and worked his way up to Vice President of a major micro-circuits corporation. Scott was a father who despite all the demands of the corporate world put his children first. He was a son who called his mother every week no matter what he was doing or where in the world he was. He was a man that was as generous as he was successful. He was an executive that believed his co-workers were as important as the work. He was a mentor in the micro-circuit industry seeing potential in individuals and offering them the opportunities that others would not. He was a biker whose Harley-Davidson got preferential space in the garage, over his restored 66 mustang. He loved sports and music. For the last six years he hosted "Hammstock" his annual bash for his friends and co-workers, giving local talent a venue to play. Most recently Scott had left the corporate world and started a new venture in entertainment promotions, specifically jazz. He was the driving force behind this years Channel Islands Arts and Jazz Festival. He also worked with a club providing a place for unknown talent to showcase their works. Though his life was short he didn't waste a moment of it. Above all he was loved as much as he loved. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and many other loved ones. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey of Camarillo; his daughter, Jessica, of Camarillo; and his sister, Cheryl; and niece, Laurel of Moriarty. Services were held November 5, 2003 at the Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, in Camarillo.

HINDS -- Ellie Hinds, Born May 4, 1983, died suddenly November 20, 2003 of accidental causes. Ellie is survived by her loving family, parents, Dr. Erv and Elizabeth Hinds; brother, Eric and his wife, Aleacia; and daughter, Isabella; and sister, Emily. She was also cherished by her maternal aunt and uncle, LuAnn and Bob Watkins; and cousin, Elizabeth; and paternal aunt, Ann Tull; and cousins, Linda Revol and Paula Ricca. Ellie graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2001. She was thrilled to have been accepted to a music production school for the upcoming year. Ellie's tender heart, her caring ways, beautiful smile, love of God's creatures and devotion to family will be with us always. HUTCHINSON -- Robert James Hutchinson, 58, a native of New Mexico, grew up in Maryland, spent time in Austin, Texas and San Francisco, California passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2003. Robert was born December 2, 1944 the son of Charles Ernest and Marjorie Edith McKim Hutchinson in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Robert was a well known clay sculptor, who was equally at home in his studio or under a vehicle, repairing it for family or friend. His original and thought provoking sculptures embodied his irreverent sense of humor. He lived his last year with brain cancer (G.B.M.) with exceptional strength, grace, and wry wit. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Charlie Hutchinson. He is survived by his wife, Louise Hutchinson of Corrales; two children, Rosalind (Rosie) Hutchinson, (age 20), currently attending the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA. and Henry Hutchinson, (age 17), at home and a senior at Cibola High School; one sister, Mary Hutchinson Moloney of Terre Haute, IN; two brothers, Dr. Peter Hutchinson of Jacksonville, OR., and David Hutchinson of Albuquerque, NM. MARTIN -- Carol Lenore Martin Klein 93, passed away with loving family present Wednesday, November 19, 2003, after a short illness. Carol, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1947 was born in Garrison, North Dakota in 1910. She and parents, Edgar and Agnes Martin resided in Hazen, North Dakota where she spent her childhood and teen years before going away to university to acquire her B.A. in education. Upon graduating, she taught school, but eventually returned to Hazen to marry Henry (Togo) Klein, who was also an educator. Carol and Togo later adopted Phillip and Nancy. Upon Togo's death in 1947, Carol, family and parents, moved to Albuquerque. She was a staff secretary at Kirtland Special Weapons Center until retirement. Carol was an avid outdoors woman. She would climb into her motorhome, without notice, wave "goodbye" and be off to hunt, fish, or caravan. Carol was a gifted musician on the piano and violin. Her artistic talents were evident in her award winning crocheted and knitted afghans. Carol was just Carol. A spark of life to friends and strangers, alike. Always a smile and an "A-OK" or "I'm doing everyone I can"! A world traveler, she always had her soft bag and passport ready for the next adventure. Europe, Africa, Egypt, Israel, Costa Rica, Alaska, were all touched by her warmth. She loved animals, wildlife, and flowers and when possible would adopt a homeless critter or fill the yard with vibrant colors. Carol was a member of The Eastern Star, Senior Paloduro Band, New Mexico 4-H and Fluffies. She is survived by her son, Phillip Klein, daughter, Nancy Walley and grandsons, Eric and Ryan Walley. MATTEUCCI -- Ralph Matteucci. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 24, 2003 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 400 West Third, Roswell, NM. The Reverend Doctor James Bruening, Honorably Retired, assisted by Reverend Doctor Hugh Burroughs will conduct the service. Ralph Lawrence Matteucci was born in Albuquerque May 26, 1932, the son of Margaret and Pete Matteucci. Mr. Matteucci grew up in Albuquerque, married and reared his family in Roswell, NM and spent the past 20 years residing in Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV. He attended St. Mary's School, Washington Junior High, graduated from Albuquerque High School and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1954. While in school he was an avid athlete and was named to the Albuquerque High School All Time Football Team. As a member of the 1952 UNM Lobo football team he was inducted into the Football Hall of Honor. He served for two years in the United States Air force and was discharges as a 2nd Lieutenant. In 1957, he moved to Roswell, NM where he operated the Pecos Sales Company. During his career in the beverage alcohol industry he was active at Richard Distributing Company and United Wholesale Liquor Company in New Mexico, Phoenix Distributing Company and All American Distributing in Arizona. He was a past director of the Wine and Spirit Wholesalers of America. In 1996, he and his children purchased New Mexico National Financial, Inc., a bank holding company. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughter, Anna Maria, son James, granddaughter, Chelsi, brother Alex and his wife, Nancy, sister, Margaret Mary, brother Richard and his wife Nedra, nieces Christine Matteucci Simon, Cheryl Matteucci Nikirk, Caren Matteucci Lewis and nephews, John Matteucci and Richard Matteucci. MCGEHEE -- Virginia W. McGehee, 88, of Germantown, MD, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died peacefully on the morning of November 14, 2003. She was born Mary Virginia Weinebrod, to Charles and Edna Weinebrod on February 27, 1915 in Blue Island, IL. In Blue Island, she graduated from High School and met her husband of 64 years, George B. McGehee who worked for the Commonwealth Edison Company. When George retired, they moved to Albuquerque, NM, where they resided for almost 30 years. She loved Albuquerque for its climate, varied cultures, southwestern food, State Fair and Balloon Fiesta. She was foremost a loving mother and homemaker, who took great pleasure in decorating her home with many antiques, cooking fabulous meals, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very social out-going person, who loved playing bridge and belonged to many clubs and organizations. She is survived by a son, Dr. James A. McGehee and his fiance, Jane Rooney of Gaithersburg, MD; daughter, Cheryl King and her husband, J. Daniel King, of Los Alamos, NM; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A simple Memorial Service was held in the Chapel at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr., Los Alamos, on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

MCMILLIN -- Opal McMillin, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003. She is survived by her sons, Walter McMillin and wife, Jodi of Casper, WY and Harold McMillin of Albuquerque; David McMillin and Bob McMillin and wife, Norma, both of Missouri; one daughter, Marian Martinelli and husband, Joe of Albuquerque; one sister, Sis and husband, Bud Grose of Sedalia, MO; 14 grandchildren, Dana, Jessica, Sarah, Nicole, Stephanie, Michelle, Corrin, Jamie, Belinda, David, Amy, Sher, Scott, and Robin; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. McMillin was born in Sedalia, MO to George and Jane Early. She was married to David McMillin for 50 years. They moved to Albuquerque in 1971 from Kansas City. Mrs. McMillin had worked as an Office Manager in various settings for many years. She loved and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting dolls, crocheting, sewing and crafts. MURTLAND -- Helen Murtland, 84, passed away in Albuquerque, NM on November 12, 2003. Helen Cochran Smillie was born August 20, 1919 in Erie, PA to John and Elizabeth Smillie. She was a graduate of Mercyhurst Seminary and attended Mercyhurst College. In June 1942 Helen traveled to Tacoma, WA and married former Erie resident Hal D. Murtland, a United States Navy Lieutenant. Helen continued to live in Tacoma until January 2000 when she moved to an Albuquerque retirement home. Helen and Hal (a former Tacoma attorney, city councilman, and district court judge) were active in numerous civic and cultural organizations. She worked in the foreign language department at the University of Puget Sound and enjoyed being an advisor to Arab students. Helen received her greatest pleasure from traveling the world with her husband and learning the culture of their interesting destinations - India, Bali, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Bhutan and many others. But she also enjoyed boating, camping, the ocean and Mt. Rainier. Artistic and creative, Helen never met a dining room table she couldn't beautifully decorate, and she was always "brightening up" something with a coat of paint. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Hal, in 1998. She is survived by her four daughters, Dale Ann McClaskey (Dan), Lorrie Ericksen, Halle Bailey, and Dior Hill (Greg), eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Helen had wanderlust in her heart and has now taken her final journey. There will be no service at her request. OLIVER -- Richard Earl Oliver, 18, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, November 15, 2003. He was a starting center for the Manzano High School football team. He also was on the Track and Field Team. Richard lettered academically and in football. He also had time to be the batboy for the Isotopes. While growing up he also played for Mile High and YAFL and also participated in organized karate and soccer. Richard enjoyed golfing, fishing, jet skiing, cooking and most of all EATING. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his friends, and kids of all ages. His sense of humor and smile never ended. Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2003, 2:30 p.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE, with Pastor Larry Miller officiating. PECK -- Ella Hinton Peck was born August 7, 1907 in Russia Township, MN. She passed away quietly, and very peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2003, from complications of Parkinson's disease. She married V.R. Peck in 1933, in Charleston, IL. They were married for 64 years. Mr. Peck predeceased Ella in 1997. Ella is survived by her son, V.R. Peck, Jr. and her son-in-law, Kenneth John Peck. Also by her nephew, Eugene Conklin of Woodland Hills, CA; and a niece, Ella Mae Bouchez of Peoria, IL. SHARPE -- Ed, nee Sal Baragiola, a resident of Albuquerque for more than 40 years passed away November 18, 2003. A well known professional wrestler, "Gentleman Ed Sharpe" wrestled in the Albuquerque area in the 1960s. He was active with BPOE #461, Shriners, and a member of the Lobo Club. A graveside service was held at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2003. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Spanish Baptist Church. Her joy in life was working with teaching children in the church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

YORMACK -- Louis Yormack, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, November 20, 2003. He is survived by his son, Barry Steven Yormack and wife, Coni of Littleton, CO; daughter, Carol Jean Brown and husband, Lee of Albuquerque; brothers, Bernard Yormack and wife, Pat of Ft. Myers, FL and Stanley Yormack and wife, Marsha of Palm City, FL; and grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Douglas, Lauren and Brian. Louis was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and brother Herman. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Jacob and Clara Yormack. Louis graduated from City College of NY with a BBA, and served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre in the U.S. Army. After the war, he married Barbara Cooper in 1946; they celebrated 52 years of marriage. Louis worked for many years as a sales manager in the textile industry. He was an active member of the Masons, and had been a Boy Scout Troop leader for many years. Louis was an avid golfer and in his later years, he loved fishing and schmoozing.
