BROOKS -- Russell Leon Brooks, 59 and a longtime resident of Albuquerque died November 20, 2003. He was born in Oklahoma to Roscoe and Mildred Brooks. Russell is survived by his mother, Mildred Brooks; children, Denise Rowlett and husband, Stephen and Dwayne Brooks all of Tulsa, OK; life partner, Darrel Kinion; brother, Jerry Brooks of Albuquerque; sisters, Barbara Brooks of Albuquerque and Shirley Nobel and husband, Dean of Wichita, KS; and grandchildren Michael Rowlett and Haley Rowlett of Tulsa, OK. The family would like to thank the Home Instead Senior Care and the entire staff, especially Mary Martinez and Rick Cseak for the care and compassion that was lovingly expressed to Russell and Darrell. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on November 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
