MOSHER -- Donald M. Mosher, loving husband, father, and grandfather, went to join the Lord November 15, 2003. Don was born in Rockford, Iowa, September 9, 1921. He served in World War II, before graduating with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa. Don went to work for the Los Alamos Laboratories in 1949 where he worked for 35 years. During his life Don was very active with AAU and the Los Alamos Swimming Program. He enjoyed church activities and singing in many choirs throughout his years. Don was also a very avid walker and runner. Don is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce; three daughters and a son; Gail Stearns and husband Jim, of Tulsa Oklahoma, Jan Mosher of Albuquerque, Brian Mosher and wife Toby of Pennsylvania, and Donna Mosher of Albuquerque. Don also had eleven grandchildren, Cara Stearns-Morris, Jeremy Stearns, Louis, Brandon and Nikki Heckroth, Travis and Lia Mosher, Shawn, Joshua, and Audrey Osborn, Janae Sanders. He was also blessed with four great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Wyoming Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Lust officiating. Ennichement of cremains immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the charity of their choice.
