GONZALEZ -- Mrs. Emilia Sanchez Gonzalez, 102, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 6, 2003. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by one daughter, Sister Paula Gonzalez; one son, Hilario C. ( Larry ) Gonzalez and wife, Sue; six grandchildren, Rebecca Honda, Greg Gonzalez, Mia Reed, Tina Gonzalez, Claire Gonzalez and David Gonzalez; eight great grandchildren, Alexis, Erin, Adam, Steven Honda, Clayton and Sara Gonzalez, Jessica and Lisa Reed; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Gonzalez was a member of the Catholic Church, a past member of the Corona Club at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School in recent years. Mrs. Gonzalez was the first principal at Lavaland Elementary School and taught at many many other schools. A visitation for Mrs. Gonzalez will be Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Gene Tuma. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Joel Garner. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Greg Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Lane Honda, Clayton Gonzalez, Adam Honda and Steven Honda.
