MARTINEZ -- Margaret Martinez, beloved mother, sister and grandmother, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 88. She will miss her standing poker game with the girls. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her daughter, Ruth Olivarez; sons, Charles Olivarez, Pete Martinez and wife, Susan, and Albert Perez; sisters, Alejandra Duran, Gabina Montoya, Dorela Anaya, Theresa Leyba and Agripina Garcia; and grandchildren, April Olivarez, Margaret Olivarez, Sabrina Olivarez, Irene Casey and Ginger Creswell. A Rosary for Mrs. Martinez will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose de Los Duranes Mission. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
