GALLEGOS -- Melida Socorro Gallegos, 51, longtime resident of Albuquerque, died October 5, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Joe; daughter, Connie Gonzales and her husband, Albert; son, Eddie Jr. and his wife, Victoria; daughters, Mary Garcia and her husband, Javier, Dolores Gallegos, Geniva Gallegos; and son, Ernesto Gallegos all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Edward Gonzales, Melida Gonzales, Alexis Gallegos, Eddie Gallegos III, Ernesto Garcia, Geniva Garcia and Alyssa Gallegos. Melidas parents Noel and Connie Venerio of Nicaragua; brothers, Francisco Venerio and family of Los Angeles, CA., Noel Venerio and family of Reno, NV; sister, Noelia Venerio of Virginia; brother, Jaime Venerio of Los Angeles, CA. Melida will be rejoined with her brother Ernesto Venerio. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 7:00 p.m., by Father Tom Perez at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, Father Joseph Thai Tran, SSS, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Gallegos Jr., Ernesto Gallegos, Albert Gonzales, Javier Garcia, Eric Chavez, and Edward Gonzales.
