COLE-SHELTON -- Margaret "Ann" Cole-Shelton, 75, went home to the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2003. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Ann was born in Miami, FL on January 21, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cole in 1993 and Joseph Shelton. Ann is survived by her daughters, Donna Cole of Albuquerque and Pamela Norris and husband, Bob of Pacific Grove, CA; grandchildren, Ensign Michael Cole Norris of Pensacola, FL and Lauren Ashley Norris of Pacific Grove, CA. She is also survived by her twin sister, Marge of Florida; and her brother, Jack of California; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ann was very active in the Kirtland Chapel, PWOC, and Thrift Shop. She enjoyed travel, spending time with family and friends, and her canine companion, Tilly. All those who loved her will miss her kindness and gentle spirit. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Chaplain Donald Harlin and Chaplain Amy Hunt officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Inpatient Unit, Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, PO Box 26666, 87125; or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank the many friends who visited and the staff at Presbyterian Hospice for the excellent care, love and compassion given to her and our family.
