Luna -- Mrs. Cora Luna, 65, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 17, 1998. Mrs. Luna was the beloved wife of 47 years to Mr. David A. Luna. She is also survived by one daughter, Linda Garza and husband, Joe; one son, David Luna Jr. and fiancee, Tish Jones; two brothers, Larry Sandoval and wife, Roberta and Ignacio Sandoval and wife, Theresa; one sister, Frances Finley and husband, Gordon; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Luna was preceded in death by her parents, Donaciano and Stella Sandoval; a daughter, Stella Gutierrez; and a sister, Alice Arias. Mrs. Luna was a member of the Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. A communion service will be held Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with final viewing at the church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Deacon Frank Perrez, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gordon Finley, Peter Orona, Jimmy Saiz Sr., David Duran Sr., Mark Arias and Eddie Moraga. Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Gutierrez, Joe Herrera and Esteban Herrera. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
