Zolman -- Florence Mildred McNay Zolman, age 82, a longtime resident of Albuquerque since July 4, 1948, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 1998. She was born February 24, 1916 to Kearney K. McNay and Mable Otilie Frost in Moline, Illinois. She was married to Linn T. Zolman on August 21, 1935 in Colorado Springs, CO who preceded her in death in 1977. She is survived by their five children, Loretta K. Logsdon of Albuquerque, Linn T. Zolman, Jr. of Bovina, TX, Carole J. Smith of Bovina, TX, George A. Sciacca of Trinidad, CO and James Michael Zolman of Dulce, NM; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Constance Gibson and Norma Colglazier along with many other family and dear friends. She was a member of Valley Christian Church, Albuquerque, NM. She was proud of her many accomplishments, including the time she changed a tire on a three-quarter ton truck without a jack! She enjoyed an active life participating in various family activities from rodeos to chili cook-offs. She was always willing, ready and able to lend a hand in the endeavors of others when help was needed. Her door was always open to friends and the coffee pot was always on. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Services are pending and will be announced at a later date by Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. .DMP
