Sandoval -- Mr. Jesus (Shu Shu) Sandoval died Tuesday in Albuquerque at the age of 99. Mr. Sandoval is preceded in death by his wife, Martina Sandoval, son, Nazario Gonzales; and daughter-in-law, Eloisa Gonzales. He is survived by his son, Philmon Gonzales, of Utah; grandchildren, Andy and Martin Tafoya, Susie and Joe Trujillo, Shirley and Cisto Abeyta, Carmen Gonzales and Dean Iliff, Mercy Gonzales and Horace Gonzales; eight great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Sandoval will be held on Thursday at the St. Therese Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Tafoya Jr., Joe Trujillo Jr., Tony Trujillo, Horace Gonzales, Bobby Lucero, Frank Lucero, and Jerome Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Lucero and Damien Lucero. A Rosary for Mr. Sandoval will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Therese Church. Arrangements by the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St SW.
