Beemer -- Winifred Barbara Beemer, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1991, died Friday, September 4, 1998. Winifred Barbara Wilkinson was born on November 30, 1903 on her father's oil lease near Marr, Ohio. They moved to Woodsfield, Ohio and then to Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1917. After her marriage to Daniel Sherman Kinley, she moved to Los Angeles in 1924 where they operated a number of business. Mrs. Beemer was one of the first female real estate brokers in the area. She also operated a tax accounting service in Los Angeles for 40 years, and after Mr. Kinley's death, she moved to Capistrano Beach, where she married Gillespie H. Beemer. Mrs. Beemer moved to Albuquerque in 1991 and continued her tax work and many charitable activities. Her final organizational memberships included St. Bernadette's Parish, The Altar and Rosary Society at St. Bernadette's Parish, Catholic Daughters of the Americas-Court Santa Maria #317, St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary, Friend of the Dominican Sisters Retreat House, and member of the Sewing Circle for Casa Angelica. Mrs. Beemer was honored for her 50 year membership in the Catholic Daughters in May 1995 and served in many offices over the years, including Vice Regent, Auditor, and Treasurer. Mrs. Beemer is survived by her only daughter, Diana Kinley Goebel and husband, Martin of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Daniel M. Goebel and wife, Debbie of Phoenix, AZ and Susan A. Heck and husband, Jon of Glendale, AZ; four great-grandchildren, Jason and Heather Goebel and Jennifer and Caitlin Heck. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE with Catholic Daughters of American reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, with Father Thomas Zotter, Celebrant. Interment will be at Mission San Fernando Cemetery in California. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Monday, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
