Barnett -- James Matthew Barnett, 35, died Monday, August 31, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Chantel Barnett; son, Cole Matthew; daughter, Presley Victoria, all of Tucson, AZ; dad, L.D. Barnett; brother, Vincent Barnett; nephew, Andrew James, all of Albuquerque; father-in-law, Jack Mills; mother-in-law, Vickie Mills; sister-in-law, Whitney Mills; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mom, Grace Barnett. James was a graduate of Manzano High School and Southern Arkansas University, where he played baseball for both schools. He worked for State Farm and was a national disaster adjuster and trainer. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Fr. Paul Baca officiating.
