Harris -- Clotilda Harris was born on October 24, 1910 in Loo Cove, Bonavista Bay Newfoundland, Canada, and arriving in the United States in 1928. She met and married Evan Robert Harris January 25, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY and went on to become a U.S. citizen on August 17, 1937. Clotilda passed away on Friday, May 22, 1998 at the home of her son, Robert and wife, Trisha. She is survived by three daughters, Hazel Michels and husband, Lou, Nancy Varin and husband, Normand, Debbie O'Connor and husband, Arthur. Also five generations of grandchildren; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a 50 year member of the Minneola Eastern Star, Chapter 716, also in 1945 a Grand Mistress of the Orange Order of Brooklyn, NY. A small family memorial service will be held at the home of Robert Harris with Chaplain Paul Gleason giving the Eulogy. Internment will be at the Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleum in Farmingdale on Long Island, NY. Cremation by Direct Services, 343-8008. Her memory will always be cherished and loved by all her family and friends.....
