Lopez -- Rev. Patrick Lopez, born in Socorro, passed away during his sleep on November 6, 1998 at the age of 70. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Colleen Lopez; brothers, Nep Lopez and wife, Katie, Ralph Lopez and wife, Celia; sisters, Pauline Baca, Rose Baca, Jane Vargas, Molly and husband, John Diedier, and Marcella and husband, Don Fingado; sister-in-law, Donna Marie Kirk; brother-in-law, Don Cotter and wife, Jane; numerous nieces and nephews; Godchildren, Dan Horton, Michelle Lopez, Vanessa Lopez, Melissa Lopez and Amanda Lopez; and compadres, Joe and Colleen Horton, Dan and Colleen Lopez, and Robert and Sonia Lopez. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Patricio and Dulcinea Lopez; brothers, Miguel, Patricio, Salomon and Nazario Lopez; and his sister, Amy Gutierrez. Patrick will be dearly missed by his wife, family and friends. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Ramon Aragon reciting. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover Ave. SW, with Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
