Bjorsness -- Mercedes Ann Bjorsness, 68, died of a lengthy illness on December 22, 1998 in Albuquerque. She was born in Wayzata, Minnesota and moved to Albuquerque in 1969 from Excelsior, Minnesota. She was a homemaker and member of Sangre de Cristo Catholic Community, Senior Citizens of Bear Canyon and T.O.P.S. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Walter Bjorsness of Albuquerque; a son, David W. Bjorsness of Las Cruces, NM; three daughters, Debra A. Kruger of Albuquerque, Diane M. Grona of San Antonio, TX and Dawn L. Archuleta of Cheyenne, WY; a brother, Louis Billodeau of Minneapolis, MN; a sister, Jeanne Eull of Cross Lake, MN; and six grandchildren, Caprice Anderson, Brian Zender, Nicole Archuleta, Shyla Archuletta, Kyle Kruger and Haley Grona. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 1998 at Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care with Deacon Lloyd Martinez of Sangre de Cristo Catholic Community officiating. Arrangements by Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
