Boesenberg -- Charles William Boesenberg. A memorial service will be held for Charles Boesenberg on Friday, April 3, 1998 at Central United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Boesenberg passed away on March 24, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on January 20, 1924 in Camden, OH. Dr. Boesenberg moved his family from Ohio in 1956 and remained in Albuquerqeu for the rest of his life. He practiced podiatric medicine in Albuquerque for 50 years. He was a member of the Elks, Masonic Temple Shrine, Moose Lodge, and past president of the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association. In his final years he was also active with the Cancer Association, making many trips to the surrounding areas informing people of the dangers of cigarette smoking. Dr. Boesenberg was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Boesenberg on January 12, 1997. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Curto; and two sons, Karl and Kurt Boesenberg. He also has four wonderful grandchildren, Amanda Curto, Rachel and Drew Boesenberg and Sophie Boesenberg. Cremation has already taken place and arrangements by Sunrise Society. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful people at Presbyterian Hospice which made his final days more peaceful. We wish all donations be made to Presbyterian Hospice.
