Persons -- Mary Leah Persons died October 25, 1998. She is survived by brothers, Douglas H. Schemmel, and Robert Schemmel and his wife, Peg; son, David Douglas Persons; daughters, Dianne Hall and her husband, Jim, and children, Jade and Chorde, and Leah Persons Carnes and husband, Sam. She began her career as a teacher and ended her days teaching her granddaughter music. Mrs. Persons left behind an appreciation of the Performing Arts. Mary came alive with the lyrics of music and applauding audiences. She dedicated her life to Masonic Organizations where she created new families for young and old alike.
