Fluke -- James H. Fluke, 72, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Saturday, March 7, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Judy K. Fluke of Albuquerque; sons, Richard Fluke and wife, Takako of Albuquerque, and Daryl Fluke and wife, Angela of Bernalillo; stepdaughter, Tina Marie Springer and husband, Donald of Greensville, TN; grandchildren, Helen Stipe, Beth Fluke, James Fluke, Carl Matthew Fluke, Stephanie Springer, Emilie Hebron, and Kellie Lynne Hebron-Fluke; great-grandson, Aiden Stipe; niece, Nanette Fluke of Albuquerque; nephew, Leslie Fluke of Loveland, CO; and other loving relatives. James was born in Deming. He was raised in Jemez Springs and in Albuquerque. James served in the US Army during WWII. He retired from PNM after 36 years of service, James was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of New Mexico, 216 Truman NE, 87108.
