Mullen -- Shirley Ray Mullen, age 75, passed away on Friday, December 24, 1999. Shirley was originally from Chicago, IL and attended Stienmetz High School and Northwestern University. She was a partner with her late husband, Mike, running the Mullen Company. After retiring, she and her family lived in Ireland for 17 years. In 1991, she moved to Albuquerque to live near her daughter, Patricia and her family. She was a loving mother and had an immensely positive outlook on life. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all who knew her, including her childhood friends whom she kept in contact with and all of her family members for whom she did such a wonderful job of preparing for life. She is survived by her five children; Patricia, Peter, Rick, Steve and Tom; and her seven grandchildren, Mikey, Eric, Kilian, Conor, Derek, Marshall and Christiana. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 29, at 1:00 p.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE.
