Brixel -- 1929-1999 Otto S. Brixel, 70, a resident of Bernalillo for the past 22 years, passed away on Monday December 27, 1999. He immigrated from Europe to Venezuela, and finally to the USA. He was a diesel mechanic for many years. Mr. Brixel is survived by his loving wife, Karla Brixel; his children, Rudy Vlk of La Mirada, California, Otto Brixel Jr. of Seattle, WA, and Carl Brixel of Rio Rancho; his sister, Margaret Spodova of Sovakia; his grandchildren, Connie Vlk-Pelton, Jonathan Vlk, Andre Vlk, Jennifer Vlk; and one great-grandson, Christopher Pelton Jr. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel of Bernalillo with Rev. Winfred Walker officiating.
