Garcia -- Filemon"Gato" Garcia, 44, passed away October 22, 1999. He is survived by brother Juan Garcia and wife, Carmen; twin sister, Judy Garcia; sisters, Rita Alderete and husband, Danny, Roberta Martinez, Stella Sanchez; girlfriend, Lela Chavez; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at the Montgomery Place Church of God, 3601 Montgomery NE., at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 25, 1999. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Alderete, Sr., Phillip McBride, Alamito Romero, Chris Sanchez, Mike Apodaca, and Mike Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces, nephews and cousins.
