Martin -- William"Bill" Martin, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Tuesday, November 23, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Earlene of the family home; three daughters, Judy Shannon and husband, Bob and Frenda Rouseville and husband, Dr. Matt Rounsenville, all of Albuquerque and Laurene Robinson and husband, Charlie of McIntosh, NM; three grandchildren, Kristi Baca and husband, Manuel, Jodi Springstead and husband, Brandon, and Kenny Moore and wife, Misty; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Juanita Wyles and husband, Andy, Jackie Pitts, Johnny Faye Kincade and husband, Jack, and Carolyn Pearce and husband, Emmett; one brother, Billy Ray Martin and wife, Andry; and his dog, Rusty. Mr. Martin was born in Cherry Hill, AR. He was a veteran of WWII and received a Purple Heart Medal. Mr. Martin was a member of the D.A.V. He was also an avid race horse enthusiast and supporter, and will be missed at Sandia Casino. Graveside services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Pastor Lemuel M. Boyles officiating. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ansley, Donnie Ansley, Kenny Moore, Bob Shannon, Dr. Matt Rounseville and Charlie Robinson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
