Fisch -- Isadore"Izzy" Fisch, age 87, passed away on February 12, 1999. Mr. Fisch was a resident of Sunrise Nursing Center in Rio Rancho. Mr. Fisch was born in Galicia, Austria on April 12, 1912. He became an American citizen on June 23, 1924, and was a survivor of one of the German prison camps. He worked in the textile industry for many years while living in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he also met and married his soul mate and beloved wife of 40 years, the late Helen Marie Fisch. Isadore was a true gentleman who dearly loved his wife and his family, he enjoyed reading, fishing, and nature. Survivors include his daughter, Linda Wolfe and her husband, Bill of Palm Bay, FL; a grandson, Rick Shutter and his wife, Sandra of Carlsbad, NM; a granddaughter, Sherryln Shuey and her husband, Curtis of Rio Rancho; and two great-grandchildren, Kristie Nicole and Christopher Nicolas Shuey.
