Gabaldon -- Mr. Frank Gabaldon Jr. a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on February 20, 1999. Mr. Gabaldon is the beloved husband of 41 years to Mrs. Erlinda Gabaldon. He is also survived by his sons, Frank Gabaldon III, James A. Gabaldon and Patrick Gabaldon; two beloved grandsons, Anthony J. and Nicholas A. Gabaldon; three sisters, Pricillia Miranda, Martha Baca and Barbara Hazlett; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and good friends. Mr. Gabaldon served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Catholic church and a member of the New Mexico Pipe and Trade Fitters Union, Local 412. Mr. Gabaldon was an avid gardner. Frank will be missed by all that knew him. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 at San Jose De Los Duranes Catholic Church on Los Luceros Rd in Duranes. Visitation will be at the Church after 6:30. Jimmy Rael, reciting. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 9:00 at San Jose De Los Duranes Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30. Very reverend Leo Lucero, Vicar General, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the La Madera Cemetery, in La Madera N.M. Pallbearers will be, Franklin Burkin, Chico Miranda Jr., Robert Garcia, Edwin Matherly, Dean Campbell and Stanley Rickert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nick Gutierrez and Gilbert Sanchez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. S.W. in charge of the arrangements.
